Knee Arthroscopy NCAA Lacrosse player

Hi Dr. Shepard,

I just wanted to thank you for helping my daughter, Shea, with her knee surgery and recovery. She played in a tournament this past weekend at the University of Colorado – Boulder, and I wanted to share with you a comment that she made after playing lacrosse for a day and a half.

She said, "Mom, this is the first time in years that I am playing without any pain in my knee!"

I was so happy to hear that because I know how much pain she's dealt with in the past. You've made her a very happy girl and I'm a very happy mom! It looks like she will possibly be playing lacrosse in college for Boulder. She just received her acceptance along with a scholarship. Lets hope she stays healthy as she plays in her final lacrosse season at Beckman High School.
